I read this book five years ago and find it even more fascinating in a second reading. The setting is Lake Otway on an Australian station ofacres sheep. This hauntingly beautiful lake dies from draught and reappears from floods every seventeen to twenty years/5(23).

The first being The haunting of Blackwood House, followed by The Haunting of Gillespie House and finally Dead Lake. All fantastic reads and highly recommended.

The second death is also mentioned in Revelation “Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire.

The lake of fire is the second death. If anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.” At the end of time, even death and the grave (Hades) will be thrown into the lake of fire. A Death in White Bear Lake. Jump to navigation Jump to search.
